EWTN on your TV with Roku
Roku is an exciting low-cost technology that uses your broadband internet to stream EWTN to your ordinary TV.
Roku works with both old and new TV's. There are no ongoing or monthly charges, just a one-off payment to purchase a Roku box.
If you have a broadband internet connection of at least 1.2mbps (megabytes per second) then you can receive EWTN Catholic Television on your normal TV set.* You do not need a computer, a satellite dish, a cable connection or any other type of technology. All you need is a broadband internet connection, an ordinary TV and a Roku box.
Roku is available for use with WIFI only (model: Roku LT, £49.99), or WIFI + wired ethernet. Just select the model that suits your needs.
While Roku offers many channels - movies and TV shows, live sports, music, games and more - you can use Roku just to receive EWTN if you wish - the choice is yours. EWTN can be found in the Roku "Channel Store" under the "Religion & Spirituality" category. Viewers just click on an icon with the familiar EWTN cross and globe logo, below which is written "EWTN Global Catholic Television Network." EWTN is a free channel.

You can check your broadband download speed at www.speedtest.net.
* Viewing EWTN via Roku uses 1GB per 3 hours of viewing time. Be aware that if your download usage is not unlimited you may want to ensure you do not exceed your monthly download limit as set by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
